Dr. Michael Sidler

Dr. Michael Sidler is a Founding Partner of redalpine, the European venture capital fund specializing in software and science investments. He earned his Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Zurich and began his career as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. During the dotcom bubble, Michael ventured into angel investing, where his early losses only deepened his passion for startups. In 2003, he joined Prionics, a pioneering Swiss startup, before transitioning to venture capital, co-founding redalpine in 2006. Michael currently serves on numerous startup boards, including at Aktiia, Lunaphore, ExpressionEdits and Apoha, where he supports founders in turning their visions into a reality.
