Deep Tech Nation Switzerland Foundation delivers its mission through three programs focused on the key conditions for deep tech growth in Switzerland: venture capital, company growth, and international visibility. Together, they help mobilise capital, support future market leaders, and strengthen Switzerland’s position as a leading deep tech nation.
Venture Hub Switzerland
Goal:
Increase venture capital flow, with a focus on domestic institutional investors. Raise awareness and accessibility for venture capital and improve investment conditions.
What we do
Mobilize Venture Capital
Attract capital from institutional investors like pension funds, family offices, corporates, foundations, insurances, HNWI to decrease reliance on foreign investment. Provide access to best practice investment vehicle with attractive returns and risk diversification.
Increase Awareness, Understanding & Transparency
Make VC more accessible and understood through education, transparency and institutional-grade standards. Develop and deliver customized investment knowledge for key decision maker with partners. Provide advisory activities for the Swiss investment ecosystem. Increase transparency by supporting a yearly VC return study.
Shape Attractive Investment Conditions
Create the financial and regulatory conditions for a thriving Swiss VC market. Build a world-class fund ecosystem and improve exit options (IPOs, secondary markets), to position Switzerland as Europe’s leading deep-tech investment hub.

Scale-up booster
Goal:
Strengthen Switzerland’s scale-up pipeline and help deep tech champions grow into global market leaders. Improve scale-up framework conditions.
What we do:
Support the Scale-up Funnel
Strengthen Switzerland’s scale-up pipeline by supporting and upgrading both existing and new services and programs, e.g. accelerators, incubators, events, and other platforms.
Strengthen Scaling Capabilities
Enhance scaling knowledge, networks, and international access through a dedicated program – enabling more Swiss scale-ups to become tomorrow’s global champions, such as ABB or Logitech.
Shape Scale-up Conditions
Improve scale-up conditions through political advocacy and a joint manifesto together with the Swiss Startup Association (SSA) – focusing on retaining and attracting (global) talent, ESOP incentive programs, and improved exit frameworks.

Strengthening Switzerland’s accelerators, incubators, and scale-up programs through partnerships and program upgrades

International Promotion
Goal:
Position Switzerland as the leading deep tech nation worldwide and provide clear points of entry for international investors, partners, and talent.
What we do:

Centralize, create, and share information & promotional assets about Swiss innovation on a single digital platform, catered to an international audience.
Promote
Coordinate, streamline, and support existing public and private efforts to broadly
promote Swiss innovation abroad in order to amplify their reach and impact.
Connect
Turn interest from promotional efforts from the entire ecosystem into concrete and measurable conversion with digital tools and centralized Call-to-Actions.
