The Anlagestiftung Winterthur für Personalvorsorge (AWI), in collaboration with Deep Tech Nation Switzerland (DTN), has launched a Request for Proposals (RfP) for the AWI Deep Tech Fund (AWI DTF), a Switzerland-focused investment Venture Capital Fund.
This fund aims to increase institutional investment in Swiss startups, particularly in deep-tech and digital innovation, by addressing key funding gaps in the ecosystem. The AWI DTF employs a hybrid investment strategy, combining both indirect exposure to startups through VC funds, and direct exposure to startups, providing institutional investors with attractive upside and risk-adjusted returns while supporting Switzerland’s position as a global leader in technological innovation.

- Clarification Questions Deadline: March 21, 2025 (18:00 CET)
- Proposal Submission Deadline: April 18, 2025 (18:00 CET)
- Asset Manager Selection: May 30, 2025
